From the desk of Faris D. Virani
Chief Angel Officer
The Faris Foundation
As we embark on our fifth year at The Faris Foundation, I can’t help but pause and reflect on how we got here! Our labor of love and faithfulness was borne out of the impeccable words bequeathed to us by our nine-year-old angel. Every day, his words guide and inform all that we do at the Foundation; they underpin our very ethos. He is indeed the Chief Angel Officer who leads, and we follow.
Thank you for walking alongside us – it gives us the courage to continue to be bold, original, and transformative in all that we do.
We look forward to the next five years as we continue with devotion and excellence in our collective mission to bring brighter days and better treatments to children with cancer.
As partners in our mission, we hope you will join us in celebrating this auspicious day by taking a moment to read (and share) our 2023 Impact Report.
I have often said that there is no doubt that at The Faris Foundation, Heaven and Earth are working together. I bow in gratitude to the Grace that has carried us and to you for believing in our labor of love.

Signing off with a Twinkling Thought
“Nothing can make our life, or the lives of other people, more beautiful than perpetual kindness.”
– Leo Tolstoy
Goes to the Lara family, for shining ever so bright with The Faris Foundation; from joining us at Houston City Hall for our Let There Be GOLD Proclamation, to getting their local bakery involved in raising awareness and fundraising in September, connecting us to other families to bring Good JuJu, to running with our team in the 2024 Aramco Houston Half Marathon, all while their own beautiful daughter underwent cancer treatment. We admire your courage and support and are inspired by your golden hearts.
