And Our Ethos of Giving

At The Faris Foundation, we are prudent stewards of your generous giving. There are many choices for your philanthropy and we feel honored that you have chosen to invest in our work and believe in our mission.

Faris was a serial entrepreneur and saved the money from his hard work and from his birthdays in his special piggy bank. We did not realize he had put all his savings in the INVEST and DONATE part of his piggy bank. For the opening of the FDV Ewing Sarcoma Center at Texas Children’s Hospital, he insisted that the seed funding come from him. With a little over $1,000, Faris (only 8 years old) handed his piggy bank to Dr. Jason Yustein, making a transformative investment in the search for a cure for Ewing sarcoma. Therefore, when you invest in The Faris Foundation, we take this responsibility to heart: to continue Faris’ legacy of transformative giving.
